Pachanga!

What is Pachanga?

Pachanga, a Mexican slang word for party, is the name of my radio show on SPACE 101.1FM. I cross a lot of genres on Pachanga, from 70s/80s glam rock and new wave to more modern indie pop/rock, but generally try and keep an upbeat and lively mood. Each week I have a segment at the first or second break that discusses a cool new piece of science. Recently, I've discussed space junk crashing down from space, ancient trade routes revealed through isotopes, and dinosaurs in Jurassic park, and much more. Occassionally, I'll also throw in some themed playlists as well (red albums only, covers, song titles that are just numbers).
